Basic Yoga Teacher Training Course – 50

ShivYog Sadhna’s 50 Hours Yoga Teacher Training Retreats in India allow you to experience intensive yoga in the traditional style. This retreat has been created for people who wish to experience yoga first-hand but who have only limited time at their disposal. It also provides a good opportunity to understand what Yoga Teacher Training is all about especially as a beginner yoga learner. You could also attend the short one-week retreat as a means to improve or maintain good health. You will be provided a 50-hour certificate after the completion of the 50-hour yoga teacher training.

The 50 Hours Yoga Teacher Training program will be organized at Shiv Yog Sadhna School of Yoga, Ambala, Haryana, India. This short TTC program allows those interested to study the arts of yoga in a structured and holistic approach. The program covers the essential basic foundation that is useful for those who are beginners or have been practicing yoga as a hobby. Our school aims to bring a depth of understanding and practice into the foundations of yoga studies. The program is designed to integrate body, mind, and breath practices to achieve a well-rounded yoga study to inspire students in their personal and spiritual growth.

The curriculum covers the fundamental elements of yoga based on essential subjects consisting of pranayama, shat karma, asana practices, yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, relaxation (Yoga Nidra), and meditation. For asana practices, our school focus on Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga styles of asana. Students will go through 6 days of training with 1 rest day per week. On this rest day, anybody can visit the nearest holy/ tourist places. The rest day usually falls on a Sunday but may be shifted to a weekday to avoid tourists and traffic during the high tourist season.

We welcome all yoga seekers to participate and experience the traditional Hatha and Ashtanga yoga with meditation in a yogic atmosphere at Shiva Yog Sadhna.

After completion of the course, the student will get a certificate affiliated with World Yoga Organization.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
• The primary objective of this Advance Yoga course is to provide an understanding of Yoga and its related practices from basic to advance, easily and systematically, including practice as well as theory.
• Shiv Yog Sadhna aims at initiating the beginner on the traditional, right track of learning so that one may have personal revelations through Yoga, which will help in creating a world of peace, happiness, and harmony.

ELIGIBILITY
• Anyone interested in learning the ancient Indian system of Yoga and its applied science, with the ability to follow the instructions and lectures welcome. It is available for all, irrespective of caste and creed. An individual suffering from any ailment is advised in his/her interest not to seek admission for this course.
• The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years at the time of admission, Yoga Aspirants above the age of 70 may be considered by the executive committee but a fitness certificate is a must.
• In case of pregnancy, a medical authorization certificate for practicing yoga is required.
• During the course if a candidate is found unfit to undergo the course, his/her training will be discontinued and no refund of fees/charges will be made.

EVALUATION
• There will be a process of assessment, written as well as practical. Besides it, the behavior of the student would also be considered in assessing his/her progress.
• At least 80% attendance of the student in all the classes must be included in the process of evaluation.
